Today marks the 106th anniversary of the first English language production of Shaw's Pygmalion.
It was, of course, first performed IN GERMAN in Vienna in October 1913.
It was also performed, again IN GERMAN, in NYC in March of 1914.
England didn't get to meet Eliza and Higgins until April.
