Nickname

In the Seventies, actor Seymour Cassel (Confessions of a Chinese Bookie, etc.) met a young boy named Saul Hudson, who had recently moved to the United States from England. Because the boy was always running around, moving from one thing to another, Cassel nicknamed him "Slash."

That boy later learned to play guitar.
